  • RPD works 12 hour shifts, Officers are off every other weekend.

  • BCBS Insurance is provided for employees, family coverage is at an additional cost to the employee but the city pays $400.00 of the cost. Dental & Vision is at an additional cost to the employee.

  • RSA Retirement

  • Paid Vacation after six months

  • Paid Sick Leave

  • Uniform Allowance

  • Certified Police Officer $20.54

  • Non-Certified Police Officer $16.38 starting pay rate.

  • Paid Bi-Weekly

  • Starting pay could be adjusted If APOSTC Certified based on the number of years' experience.

  • Take Home vehicle program if you live within 20 miles of the city limits.
